More than physical spaces, SHCC of Benguerir is becoming a dynamic hub driven by collective intelligence and innovative services powered by digital technology. SHCC is an innovative ecosystem for medical education, advanced research and healthcare. This revolutionary vision focuses its strengths on three essential pillars: The Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMS), Institute of Biological Sciences (ISSB) Labs, and the UM6P Hospital.

The hospital complex houses on a surface of 25,000 m² for a ratio of 130 m² / bed, the following structures:

• A Geriatric center with 50 to 70 beds
• A 120-bed rehabilitation and follow-up care centre (Rehab Center)
• A 200-bed general hospital
• An Oncology center with 50 bed AKDITAL

The SHCC aims to contribute to the development of the Green City through the strengthening of health infrastructures in the province of Rhamna and by offering a quality health service. In a modern architectural setting, with a shared multipurpose technical platform, technological equipment, and high-end hotel services, the SHCC is designed according to a global and equitable care system combined with a platform of excellence dedicated to the following specialties:

The Rehab Center will host patients in need of rehabilitation following conditions related to dependence and/or old age, affecting the neurological system, musculoskeletal or cardiovascular and respiratory systems. It will have the ability to respond to the strong development of serious pathologies (strokes, paraplegia, post-infarction, post-operation,…) or the resurgence of chronic diseases (diabetes, respiratory failure . . .)  thanks to comprehensive care allowing patients to regain their autonomy.

Because of the population aging in our country, the creation of a Geriatrics center will provide comprehensive care for patients over 69 years of age requiring post-hospitalization follow-up. This specialty is growing, and its mission is to maintain or restore the autonomy of the elderly with Alzheimer’s type gerontopsychiatric diseases.
