Located in Benguérir, near Marrakech, this eco-responsible city harmoniously combines ecology and innovation. Supported by UM6P, the Green City embodies a vision of the future, both locally and nationally. The aim? To provide its residents with a sustainable and inspiring living environment, integrated into a thriving knowledge ecosystem. LEED ND certified, Mohammed VI Green City is distinguished by its commitment to the environment at every stage, from urban design to service management. From eco-efficient infrastructure to recycling initiatives, every detail is designed to protect our environment. At the heart of this urban metamorphosis is the Smart Health Care City (SHCC), an innovative project born out of collaboration between local stakeholders and experts. With its state-of-the-art medical facilities and renowned academic institutions, the SHCC embodies excellence in health and research. Despite the technical challenges, this colossal undertaking has overcome the challenge of building a 58,000m² hospital in just three years, thanks to flawless coordination and total commitment.

About the Faculty of Medical Sceinces

The Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMS) at UM6P is a pioneering institution established in July 2022. Our faculty provides an English-language training program, currently hosting 242 students in medicine and pharmacy who have excelled in our rigorous entrance exam. The creation of the UM6P-FMS stems from a deep commitment to advancing healthcare education and training. We are devoted to forming health professionals, combining traditional medical education with research and innovation competencies. At FMS, our goal is to cultivate doctors and pharmacists who are not only skilled in their respective fields but also possess strong research capabilities and industry-focused knowledge. Our curriculum is designed to integrate: 1) Basic Scientific Research: Foundational research that forms the bedrock of medical and pharmaceutical education. 2) Industry and Biotechnology: Specialized training in collaboration with leading pharmaceutical companies and innovative startups, particularly in new therapeutics. 3) Data Science and E-Science: Essential skills for the future of medicine, including proficiency in data analysis and the use of digital technologies in healthcare.
