Loubna OUMESLAKHT,
Ph.D candidate

“Since age 13, I’ve dreamt of becoming an Immunologist, inspired by the wonders of the immune system. Transitioning from supporting cancer patients, I pursued Oncology, earning an MSc in Cancer Science. Now, as a Ph.D. candidate in Immuno-Oncology at UM6P, I’ve had the privilege of working on a joint project between UM6P and IMRB, Paris Est Créteil University. This transition to France has been transformative, shaping me both personally and professionally. Under esteemed experts, I’ve honed my skills and gained insights into cutting-edge technologies. I am grateful for this opportunity and eager to apply my knowledge to benefit my homeland.”

Lisa Jerryson
Teacher

“I’ve gained invaluable insights from Dr. B. BOANIMBEK BAKOUME regarding the management of patients experiencing anterior knee pain and/or patellar instability. Dr. B. BOANIMBEK’s approach stands out for its thoughtfulness and organization, with a deep consideration for each patient’s unique needs. I’m truly thankful to have Dr. B. BOANIMBEK as a Mentor.”

El Mahdi Kabbou,
second year student, Doctorate in Medicine

“Reflecting on my journey, I’m El Mahdi Kabbou, a second-year medical student at UM6P Faculty of Medical Sciences. Beyond textbooks, my story is about the triumphs and friendships that shape me. It began with a dream rooted in my family’s healing legacy, driving me to strive for greatness in medicine. As student office president, I immerse myself in campus life, organizing events and making a difference. Memorable moments at UM6P, like the white coat ceremony and engaging class sessions, fuel my passion. Amidst academics, I cherish camaraderie and relaxation: coffee breaks, jam sessions, and thrilling sports team moments. Exploring anatomy deepens my understanding and personal growth. Grateful for UM6P’s opportunities, I’m inspired to impact lives, both on campus and as a future physician. Looking ahead, I’m hopeful and determined, knowing dedication leads to achievement. I believe that the greatest legacy we can leave behind is not measured in accolades or achievements but in the lives we touch and the difference we make in the world. And so, I pledge to continue striving for excellence, giving my all to empower Morocco, the country that has given me so much, and to honor the legacy of healing that runs through my veins.
